Yung Miami drops ‘F-You’ video ahead of debut album Watch Dis

Yung Miami has released the music video for ‘F-You’, a track produced by London On Da Track, as she counts down to her debut solo album Watch Dis, due 23 October on Uptown Records. uDiscover Music reports that the visual places the rapper in red, surrounded by a fleet of matching Ferraris, with the cars given as prominent a role as her performance.

‘F-You’ samples the track of the same name by Yo Gotti and Meek Mill. It was one of two singles released when Miami announced the album, the other being ‘2008’, produced by J White, the producer behind ‘Spend Dat’. That track draws on Southern rap nostalgia, with Miami comparing her current run to Jeezy in his prime, and a video for it is also available.

Two singles, one statement

Miami addressed her decision to launch the album with two tracks simultaneously. ‘They counted me out, and I heard every bit of it. I could’ve come back with one song and played it safe, but why? I got the music and the visuals, so I’m dropping two singles and a video in one day. I’m confident in what I made. I’m back to pop my shit and I want everybody to WATCH DIS.’

The album’s title originated as a challenge Miami (also known as Caresha) set for herself while facing questions about her next move. Its sound draws from Southern rap and her Miami roots, combining what the announcement describes as hard drums, big hooks and club records with lyrics about luxury, humour and more personal experiences. The project also makes room for vulnerable material informed by difficult periods in her life.

Building on ‘Spend Dat’

Watch Dis follows ‘Spend Dat’, which gave Miami her first solo Top 20 entry on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 17. The single also reached No. 2 on Billboard‘s Hot Rap Songs chart. Miami subsequently released an official remix featuring Lil Baby and Kodak Black, followed by an international version with Davido, Shenseea and Vybz Kartel. Her earlier Yung Miami solo debut releases include 2021’s ‘Rap Freaks’ and 2024’s ‘CFWM’, featuring Skilla Baby.

In October 2026, uDiscover Music also noted that outside music, Miami launched the Caresha Please podcast in 2022, which won the BET Hip Hop Award for Best Hip-Hop Platform the following year.

Watch Dis arrives on 23 October.
